Admission Arrangements


If you are interested in a place for your child at Ewelme School, please contact the school as early as possible to arrange a visit to tour the school and meet the Headteacher and other members of staff.

Applications for entry to Reception for the academic year must be made through the Common Admissions Preference Form (CAPF) which is available from the Local Authority.

Children born from 1st September to 31st August will be offered full-time places in the Reception year from the start of the Autumn Term (in September).

Applications for entry to the current Reception Class and to Years 1 to 6 at should also be made through the Local Authority using the In Year Application Form. Please contact the school for further information and to arrange a visit.

Please read our Admissions Policy and Oxfordshire’s timetable for Appeals which you will find in the Policies section of the Key Information tab. Any objections to the Admissions Policy should be referred to the Schools Adjudicator (OSA, Bishopsgate house, Feethams, Darlington, DL1 5QE) by 15 May 2016. 

A Supplementary Information Form is also to be found within the Admissions Policy which can be completed if you attend a Church or other place of worship.
